Barbering Courses

This program is for apprentices and stylists. If your barbering knowledge needs a little refresher, this is the program for you!

This 5 day certficate course will give you the skills and confidence needed to perform straight razor shaving and advanced barbering techniques, such as bald fades. 

This course will cover:

• Understanding your tools
• Barber terminology
• Analysis of head structure and design
• Consultation strategy
• Clipper-over-comb and scissor-over-comb techniques
• Free-hand haircutting techniques
• Creating 45 degree and 90 degree haircuts
• Creating bald fade, low fade, medium fade, and high fade haircuts
• Learning how to get 'rid of the line', blending, and texturizing techniques
• Hair detailing techniques
• Sanitation practices
• Product/equipment requirements
• Beard designs
• Practical experience on models
• Stroke patterns
• Head and neck shaves
